Green Dot Corporation required a Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) solution for it's online customers. Green Dot's tens of millions of card holders are increasingly signing on to take advantage of the many convenient services offered. Breakpoint LLC announces several SecureLine enhancements.

The latest version of SecureLine includes several features that make it even easier for banks to protect their online users from fraud. Customer information is used to determine if they are entering from a different computer, location, or with different software compared to their last visit. This information is used to challenge users as directed by the bank administrator. The additional information gives bank administrators more control over how and when they challenge their online banking customers. Additional messaging options make it easier for banks to add personalized greeting messages to new challenges in real time. Security enhancements include an additional hashing of the session id used by the protected application. SecureLine encrypts the protected application's session id to prevent online attacks that remain an issue for banking applications. The above enhancements demonstrate Breakpoint's commitment to making SecureLine the best out of band authentication choice for protecting online banking applications.

Breakpoint LLC announces the release of SecureLine, a true out of band authentication solution.

SecureLine is an out of band authentication tool that combines a user's phone and their Internet session to create an event that is authenticated with multiple factors using an out of band channel. Online banking users perform their online activities as they always have, but when they perform a protected action, they will receive a phone call to verify their identity and activity. In addition to preventing fraud, the real time component of a phone call alerts an organization's security team to issues while they are happening. The early notification can be the difference between preventing an attack and diagnosing an attack. SecureLine provides institutions a way to deal with customers that have malware infected computers.

Breakpoint's ACH Positive Pay solution can completely protect customers from unauthorized ACH transactions. Previous transaction histories can be used to protect customers from day one without the hassle of manually re-entering authorized biller information. Customers will enjoy a simple color-coded system that immediately informs them of expiring ACH rules that need attention. ACH Positive Pay users can protect themselves in real time using a dynamic rules engine that sets rules based on amount, amount during a given or recurring time period, amount over a given time period, or based on a time period alone regardless of transaction amounts.

TD Bank and Breakpoint LLC sign an agreement to convert TD Bank's online cash management system, Treasury Direct.

The agreement provides TD Bank a smooth transition to their new online offering. Breakpoint will lead the deployment of the new application by conducting extensive off-site deployments and tests. TD Bank's Treasury Direct customers will be converted to the new system so that their past transaction history and all previously saved templates are available from day one. During the conversion project, Breakpoint will also create new interfaces to the other core banking systems that Treasury Direct relies on including the various money transfer and image applications. Additional account consolidation activities will also be completed during the conversion to ensure customers are not inconvenienced by the transition.
